COVID-19 Webinar: Self-Care for Healthcare Workers During the Coronavirus Crisis

In this training, we will acknowledge the realities of the challenges created by this pandemic, specifically the impact on our lives and workplaces. We will look at ways to practice intentional thought, take deliberate action, and strengthen virtual community building.
Instructor: Yasmin Sayyed, Ed.D. a seasoned expressive arts trainer, a visual artist, an author, and a lover of nature. She holds a doctorate in International and Multicultural Education with a focus on Intra psychic and socio-historic trauma.

The STEP Accelerated Online Program offers 8-week, fast-paced, 100% online, general education classes and prerequisite classes through Coastline Community College Extended Learning Division. This program can help you earn a certificate or degree in an accelerated fashion to finish faster and be a successful student! Find out more.
CE Direct offers online CEUs for those members working in Nursing, Surgical Tech, Imaging and Radiologic Therapy, Social Workers, Respiratory, Dietitians, Pharmacy, Health Educators, and other allied health professions.
How to register:

American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT)
ASRT offers online CEUs for Radiologic Technologists, CT Techs, MRI Techs, Sonographers, Nuclear Medicine Techs, Mammographers, and more.
Register via the ASRT website.
AHIMA & AAPC
AHIMA & AAPC provide Medical Coders with information on privacy and security, coding, electronic health records, clinical documentation, health informatics, data analysis, reimbursement, compliance and other critical topics.
They also offer resources and surveys for pre-work webinars for the CCS and CCS-P Exam, Outpatient CDI and CHDA Exam.

Law & Ethics for Respiratory Therapists
This course meets the requirements of law and professional ethics for Respiratory Care Practitioners set by the Respiratory Care Board of California for Continuing Education Units and is approved for 3 contact hours.
Registration ends at 11:59pm on April 13, 2020. Please note: You will see a message at the top of the registration page that in-person class registration is currently unavailable. However, this is an online course and you can continue to use this system to sign up for this particular class up to the deadline on April 13.
Academy X offers classes for all eligible members in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook). The courses are live online, with a live instructor, and are six hours long.
- Visit the AcademyX website.
- Validate Eligibility by providing Your Name and Employee ID.
- Select a class to attend from the “Choose Class” window.
- Find the Location and Date you prefer and click “add to cart”
- Choose additional class topics, locations, or dates, as desired.
- Click on the red “Check out” button.
- Review your Shopping Cart for accuracy, and click “Check Out”.
- Submit your personal/employer information and click “Purchase”.
- (You will not be charged)
- You will then receive a confirmation email from AcademyX.
Kaiser Permanente School of Allied Health Sciences
KP School of Allied Health Sciences offers the following courses. These are for certificate only, which means they are not for credit and do not transfer to other colleges:

- Medical Terminology
Spring session 2020 will be May 4 – June 12, 2020. Registration opens March 30, 2020 via the KPSAHS website.
CE Reimbursement Program
Through the Education Fund’s CE Reimbursement Program, learners can take any CE from a reputable vendor, including online options (live simulcasts, webinars, online live classes), and be reimbursed up to $250 annually. The online application must be completely filled out and submitted electronically within 90 days of the last day of the in-person class, workshop, or conference.
