JERLINE HODGE
Certified Nursing Assistant, Kindred Healthcare's Bay View Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Alameda
Jerline Hodge recently improved her skills by way of a Restorative Nursing Assistant training program offered by the Education Fund. “The training helped me provide better care to my patients,” Jerline says. It also helped her decide to become a Licensed Vocational Nurse. In addition to
the RNA training provided through our new Long Term Care program, Jerline also recently participated in the Education Fund’s new Alzheimer’s Care Academy, which provides in-depth training in dementia care for long term care workers. Next, she will start her prerequisite classes through the new on-site services the Education Fund will offer at her facility. “I always knew I wanted to move up,” says Jerline. “Now that I am eligible for Education Fund trainings and classes, I know I can.”
