    Skills Assessment & Career Counseling - 1:1 counseling and career advancement workshops.

  • Prerequisite/STEP (Success Through Educational Preparation) Program - Core science courses required for nursing or allied health fields. Includes Chemistry, Anatomy, Physiology, Microbiology, as well as math, English and computer skills to help build students' success.
  • 3,200 students enrolled since 2006
  • 275 classes offered since 2006
  • 89% average completion rate with an A or B for college credit classes in 2009
  • 83% average completion rate for science prerequisite classes in 2009

  • Academic Support Program- Exam preparation and Academic Success Workshops, Bridge Courses, RN Clinical Previews and Tutoring.
  • 1,042 enrollments since program began in January 2008

  • Professional Development Program - Continuing education and specialty credentialing courses/workshops for licensed professionals
  • 3,981 enrollments since program began in fall 2007
  • 110 courses offered since 2007

  • Forgivable Loan - Allows workers enrolled in school to reduce hours of work to focus on school (Ex. Radiologic Technologists, RNs, LVNs)
  • 1,068 employees have received payments since 2006
  • $4,562 average payment per student
  • $3.6 million total payments to students

  • Career Upgrade Program- Trains cohorts of workers into high-demand jobs, such as Medical Coding, LVN-to-RN, CNA, Phlebotomy, Sterile Processing, Medical Assisting, Clinical Nurse Instructor and Mammography.
  • 610 workers enrolled since 2006
  • 88% average completion rate

  • Job to Job Training - Supporting workers through redeployment
  • 85% of affected workers successfully redeployed since 2006
